Description

This course is designed for maintenance crew and crew leaders who have not yet completed CBLP level 1 Training.

We focus on engagement, interaction, and hands-on learning. Topics include routine and nonroutine BMP maintenance tasks, plant ID techniques, best native plants for BMPs, ID and management of invasives, and developing a maintenance plan. Reference materials will be provided to all participants.

The class will be taught partly outdoors.   Please bring your own lunch and water bottle.

Participants who complete the class will receive the CBLP-CREWS certificate.

Thanks to generous funding from the Chesapeake Bay Trust, and The Antietam Conococheague Watershed Alliance 18 seats in the Hagerstown, MD class will be offered to local landscape professionals free of cost. These are offered at a first come first served basis. To use this funding please select the “grant funded” price tier.
