Today’s Menu: Climate Change Impacts on the Forests of the Mid-Atlantic

Wednesday, February 26, 2025 |12:00- 1:00

The Mid-Atlantic features numerous biodiverse forest types and a rich diversity of species. While this diversity creates resilience, climate chaos affects all parts of nature, including humans, and our interconnected relationships. In this webinar, Join Bob Schwartz to learn what has changed in our region, what the impacts might be, and how we might find solutions.

Bob Schwartz serves as Western Watershed Forester for the Maryland Forest Service where he works with private and public landowners to improve forest health and resilience. He earned an undergraduate degree in Forest Ecosystem Science and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin- Madison as well as a Master of Science in Environmental Biology and Climate Change from Hood College. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, Maryland Licensed Forester, and a Level 2 Chesapeake Bay Landscape Pro. He lives in Brunswick, MD with his wife Ellen and their cats Ollivander and Remus.

There is no cost for this webinar, however, if you would like to make a donation we greatly appreciate it.
