Description
The goal is to help CBLP instructors build their speaking skills for both in-person and online environments. The online workshop will be participatory, with some preparation work for participants between sessions. The goal is to improve confidence and for participants to set their own trajectories to becoming excellent speakers and instructors.
Each cohort will attend four online sessions over the course of several weeks and lasting 90 minutes. The general format will be for participants to observe different examples of public speaking, practice their own prepared and impromptu speeches (e.g., similar to answering questions during a CBLP class), and receive constructive feedback. The general approach is for participants to have fun while challenging themselves and seeing improvements.
