Penn State Center for Ag Conservation Assistance Training is hosting a private CBLP-Buffers training in June 2023 for County Conservation District Staff (and Other Conservation Professionals working with ag conservation cost-share programs in PA). This highly interactive course will be held online and in Port Royal, PA.

The CBLP-Buffers certificate course includes 3 sessions:

  1. Buffer Basics Webinar – Friday, June 23, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | online via Zoom
  2. Planning & Implementation Workshop –Wednesday, June 28, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Field and classroom
  3. Maintenance Workshop –Thursday, June 29, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM | Field and classroom

Registration is now open, and space is limited. There is no cost for soil conservation district staff to attend, however, in order to help discourage “no shows” and ensure that we can fill as many seats as possible, we ask participants whose plans change after registering to kindly cancel no
later than June 16. Any late cancellations or no shows will be invoiced $250 per person for the cost of training.

CBLP-Buffers is a three-part comprehensive course that covers planning, implementation and management of riparian forest buffers. Participants who attend all three days will receive the CBLP-Buffers certificate of completion.  Penn State Center for Ag Conservation Assistance Training is hosting a private CBLP-Buffers training in June 2023 for County Conservation District Staff (and Other Conservation Professionals working with ag conservation cost-share programs in PA).
