Description

The online class sessions will be live instruction via Zoom.  You must be present for both sessions, AI notetaking devices are not allowed at this time. To participate fully we strongly suggest you use a computer or tablet with microphone and video capability.

The field practicum is taught entirely outdoors in all weather. Participants will visit multiple stormwater practices and will drive their own vehicles- or carpool between locations. Participants should be prepared to spend time walking on a variety of surfaces. If you will need accommodations please  email katie@cblpro.org.

Discounts are available for companies or organizations sending three or more employees to Level 1. 

Current scholarships include:

  • The Nanticoke Watershed Alliance has generous full scholarships for landscape contractors working within 50 miles of Seaford, DE.
  • ShoreRivers is offering generous full scholarships for landscape professionals serving the Eastern Shore of MD. 
  • PA DCNR is providing generous support for landscape professionals who work in PA and are interested in lawn conversion to attend CBLP Level 1 training.  This funding will cover $400 of the $475 registration fee.
  • The Scotty Scholars Scholarship fund is available from CCLC. Applications must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to class.

The Level 1 exam is currently being offered online. Details will be shared with you after training is completed. We will return to in-person tests when we can safely do so.

By registering for this course, you have agreed to the following cancellation policy: Cancellations made at least THREE (3) WEEKS prior to event start dates may receive a refund for the cost of the class minus a $35 processing fee. Registration may be transferred to an alternative Level 1 date at any time, without penalty. Participants who wish to request a refund or date change must notify CBLP by email. CBLP will notify you of any changes in schedule related to inclement weather.  Should we need to cancel or reschedule a class, date change/refund fees will be waived.
