As the coordinator of the Lancaster Conservancy Community Wildlife Habitat initiative, I offer free National Wildlife Federation site assessments for habitat; conservation landscape design; and information on the best BMP for storm water. We refer our contacts to CBLP / sustainable practice professionals and conservation partners. My focus is teaching the importance of using native plant species for improved ecosystem services, increasing habitat for our pollinators, birds and other wildlife. nI pursue the study of native plant species in order to understand the best plant and design to use for particular site conditions.
