I run the new Delaware Community Conservation Assistance Program (DeCAP) within DNREC's Division of Watershed Stewardship. The program focuses on working with landowners to implement urban BMPs identified in the Chesapeake Watershed Implementation Plan. BMPs our program will be implementing are rain gardens, conservation landscaping, rainwater harvesting, constructed wetlands, tree plantings, among others. This program provides technical assistance and cost share to approved landowners with most practices eligible for up to 75% financial reimbursement.
