I provide technical assistance for DCNR Community Conservation Partnership Program (C2P2) Grants for the southcentral western region of Pennsylvania (Susq west to Somerset and Cambria counties). DCNR grants provide matching funds (usually 50%) for municipalities and non-profits for acquisition (fee simple or easement) of lands for outdoor recreation, development of community parks and trails. We seek grant applications that incorporate climate resiliency considerations (green & sustainable landscaping) in their design.

I have had a personal interest in native landscaping and became certified in 2021 in support of my previously held position as an environmental planner with PennDOT.
