ReadyReef Inc. designs and installs Living Shorelines with an emphasis on Living Sills made of oyster reefs. Oyster reefs as shoreline erosion control, in partnership with Spartina marsh grasses, is not a new idea, but rather the original eco-system that evolved in the Chesapeake Bay. nAdditionally, ReadyReef employs a suite of other products to be able to bring living shorelines to those with steeper slopes or higher energy.
