As a Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional, Mstr. Watershed Steward, Mstr. Gardener and Mstr. Naturalist I give educational talks and offer landscape assessments, mainly to address stormwater runoff problems and to grant wishes – using native plants. I educate people about the value of sustainable landscaping and help them identify the best native plant to solve a problem or grant a wish. Want privacy? There’s a native plant for that! Want to control runoff? Plenty of great native options! Want to attract pollinators? Feed the birds? Lots of choices – trees, shrubs and herbaceous native plants. Stressed out…want to add some serenity to your life? Native plants can do that too. If you want to create a functional landscape that is beneficial to our waterways and our environment let me introduce you to some knockout natives!
