I am a foreperson at EQR, and my team maintains bioretentions for the Montgomery County government. I drive a mid-sized dump truck and hold a Class-C license and DOT certification. Most days we perform invasive species control and leaf and sediment removal, as well as mowing and edging, with mulching, plant and tree planting, and minor repairs as required. I enjoy training my coworkers in plant identification.
I hold a bachelor’s of science in biology with a concentration in ecology and evolution. I have been with EQR since March 2019. In 2018 I learned how to build raingardens and bioretentions with Howard EcoWorks, and I became a foreperson there as well. I have also done wetland assessment studies in Madison, Alabama with Robinsong Ecological Resources.
